Zaya Phone Pyaih is in the final year of a four-year Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious engineering programs at an institution often described as the “MIT of England.” Imperial is consistently ranked among the top universities globally, including #1 in the UK and #2 in the world by QS. Before university, Zaya attended international schools and graduated from the highly regarded Abbey College Cambridge, where he built a strong academic foundation in STEM.
Over the past three years, Zaya has mentored students applying to top universities in both the UK and the United States, with a focus on STEM pathways, research development, and competitive academic positioning. He achieved a 1580 on the SAT and earned A* A* A* at A Level, reflecting both academic excellence and deep subject mastery. He tutors advanced STEM subjects and works closely with students to develop research projects, strengthen their technical profiles, and present their work in a compelling, strategic way.
In addition to admissions mentoring, Zaya brings industry and research experience across multiple fields. He has worked in fintech and construction firms and served as a research assistant at Imperial College London, gaining exposure to both applied engineering and analytical problem-solving. His combined academic and professional background enables him to guide students not only through admissions but also toward long-term success in highly competitive, technical fields.
