Jeffery Aung
Founder & Head Advisor
Jeffery Aung is a senior at Pomona College, a top-4 liberal arts college, where he double-majors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Asian Studies, with a minor in English. Before Pomona, Jeffery attended international schools and graduated from the nationally renowned The Nueva School in the Bay Area, an academically rigorous and highly competitive environment that shaped his early understanding of elite college admissions.
Over the past three years, Jeffery has worked in educational consulting and tutoring, mentoring students through every stage of the admissions process. He has helped students gain admission to top universities by developing clear application strategies, refining extracurricular narratives, and guiding essays with precision and depth. At Pomona, he has served as a teaching assistant, writing partner, and research assistant. Beyond academics, Jeffery has a strong professional background in research and policy through internships at embassies, the US-ASEAN Business Council, and think tanks. His experience spans institutional research, political and economic analysis, and advising students on internships and career positioning.
Jeffery founded Veritas Admissions after seeing how large agencies often treat students as numbers—overloaded advisors, surface-level guidance, and hidden fees limiting meaningful support. Having experienced this firsthand as both a student and as a counselor, he built Veritas to offer something different: highly personalized mentorship, honest guidance, and a level of investment that ensures every student is fully understood and strategically positioned to succeed.
